First Trio “Married” in The Netherlands
brusselsjournal.com/node/301
. . . . . Meanwhile in the Netherlands polygamy has been legalised in all but name. Last Friday the first civil union of three partners was registered. Victor de Bruijn (46) from Roosendaal “married” both Bianca (31) and Mirjam (35) in a ceremony before a notary who duly registered their civil union.

“I love both Bianca and Mirjam, so I am marrying them both,” Victor said. He had previously been married to Bianca. Two and a half years ago they met Mirjam Geven through an internet chatbox. Eight weeks later Mirjam deserted her husband and came to live with Victor and Bianca. After Mirjam’s divorce the threesome decided to marry.

Victor: “A marriage between three persons is not possible in the Netherlands, but a civil union is. We went to the notary in our marriage costume and exchanged rings. We consider this to be just an ordinary marriage.”

Asked by journalists to tell the secret of their peculiar relationship, Victor explained that there is no jealousy between them. “But this is because Mirjam and Bianca are bisexual. I think that with two heterosexual women it would be more difficult.” Victor stressed, however, that he is “a one hundred per cent heterosexual” and that a fourth person will not be allowed into the “marriage.” They want to take their marriage obligations seriously: “to be honest and open with each other and not philander.”

The libs HOWLED when we said polygamyists are looking forward to gay marriage in this country.

Yeah!!!

I can’t wait until teenagers start dating polygamy style in view of polygamus marriages, wouldn’t they have such wonderfully open minds by then?

Can’t wait to see the legal proceedings during divorces!

(NOTE: Trying to be sarcastic!)

sigh
Please wake me up when all this BS is over.
thank you

Being funny here so don’t slam me.

But some might think:

One husband as father to the children.
One husband as breadwinner.
One husband as maintance worker.
That makes three. But maybe two breadwinners would be nice.

Next thing is one woman with multiple ‘husbands.’
Makes me mad that they can even allow this. It cheapens marrage and the family IMO.

Yup-we’re seeing what departing from one man-one woman for reasons of PROCREATION can do. Marriage is for procreation(and unitive)and rearing of children.
When we depart from that- why NOT polyamory, polygamy, marriage between a brother and sister - two brothers- a man and his horse…

I’m sure Canada will follow suit in quick order. Our government is a real trendsetter when it comes to immorality.

We where the third to legalize gay marriage!

Like winning the bronze medal in the moron’s Olympics! 😃

Why stop at people…maybe that cowboy will marry his horse…Some people are already married to their jobs…Maybe in the Netherlands, that will become legal too…they already are off the page in the definition of marriage.

Oh good thing…because “4” is really where you should draw the line! I am glad he is clear with his line in the sand.

It is really quite sad and pitiful I pray for the people and wonder where their moral formation stems from.

How can a guy pretend to obey two different women at the same time?

did you know that bestiality is still legal on the books of Pennsylvania state law? That’s right in our own backyard.
Do beavers count for beastiality? 'cause if not 50% of Canadiens are off the hook!

BoooYaaaa!

/sarcasm… 😦

Whoa! They take their Thought Police even more seriously than we do in the US:
Sweden’s sweeping hate crime law which criminalizes speaking out against homosexuality has been criticized by Pope Benedict. In an interview published last year in the Italian newspaper “La Reppublica” and re-distributed world-wide via the Vatican Information Service, then Cardinal Ratzinger, recalled, “In Sweden, a Protestant pastor who had preached about homosexuality, based on a line from Scriptures, went to jail for one month.”
You know It’s Serious when the Catholics are siding with the Protestants. 😛

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE ADDRESS OF WINONA RIDER AND Lindsay Lohan???

I met a man who lived with two women, and had children by both, though he was only married to one of them. They were pitiful people, the man oppressive and uneducated, the women both with low self images, servile and needy. The poor children . . .

You can just imagine the legal arguments being crafted in favor of polygamy:

If he isn’t allowed to marry his girlfriend, he will just divorce his wife to marry the girlfriend. Therefore, allowing polygamy will result in fewer broken homes!

But what if two of the group want out? Will there be a partial divorce?
