Thanks once again ,shame on us for not knowing about it ,or rather about my ignorance, what are the rules to wear it ,any enrollment in the parish or particular prayer to be said ,i heard that a priest has to say specific prayers and put it on our necks,please suggest if you know

That’s what I’m trying to find out there must be people here with it.

At times some Parishes do it, during the First Holy Communion or Confirmation day ,they enroll the children names in a books ,and the Priest or Bishop blesses and puts on them.i have seen it .I also have the Green Scapular devotion we we keep with us in the wallet or on the bed /pillow ,Mother Mary protects us from various contagious diseases.

Plenary Indulgences granted to those who wear the Five-fold Scapular.

Besides the innumerable graces and indulgences annexed to this devotion, the Popes have granted many Plenary and partial indulgences to those who wear the four Scapulars, (part of the five-fold). The following are the principal indulgences to obtain which no special visit to any particular church is required.

Paul V., by his briefs of the 30th October, 1606, 31st August, 1609, and 19th of July, 1614;

Clement X., in his Constitution of 8th May, 1673;

Clement XI., in his Constitution of 12th of May, 1710;

Innocent XI., by his Constitution of the 10th of February, 1680, and on 1st September, 1682, have granted the following indulgences:
  1. Four Plenary Indulgences on the day of reception, when they have the four Scapulars, provided they go to confession and receive Holy Communion, and pray for the intention of the Church.
  2. Four Plenary Indulgences at the hour of death, if they receive the Sacraments.
  3. A Plenary Indulgence on the Festival of Our Lady of the Seven Dolors, on the usual conditions.
  4. A Plenary Indulgence on Passion Sunday, if they meditate for some time on the sufferings of Our Lord and of His Blessed Mother.
  5. A Plenary Indulgence of the Festival of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, July 16; also whenever other Confraternities have a Plenary Indulgence; on all the festivals of Our Lord ; of the Blessed Virgin; and of the Apostles; on any two days of every week, at their option; and on every Friday, if the devoutly meditate for some time on the Passion of Our Lord, receive the Sacraments , and pray for the intention of the Church. (you should also mention for the intention of the Holy Father)
All these Indulgences are applicable to the souls in Purgatory.( for example you can keep one for yourself and offer the rest for the holy souls in Purgatory, if they get out by your prayers they are so grateful they will turn around and help you here on earth.)

433 PLENARY INDULGENCES*

see note at top of page

“And let it be remembered,” says St. ALphonsus Liguori, "that besides many particular indulgences, there are annexed to the Scapular of the Immaculate Conception, all the indulgences which are granted to any Religious order, pious place, or person. And particularly by reciting the Our Father, Hail Mary, and the Glory be to the Father, Six times, in honor of the Most Holy Trinity and of the Immaculate Mary, are gained each day all the indulgences of Rome; Portiuncula; Jerusalem; and Galicia; which reach the number of four hundred and thirty-three (433) Plenary Indulgences, besides the temporal, which are innumerable. (from the “Glories of Mary”, by St.Alphonsus Liguori.)

The most informative article touching upon all the approved scapulars can be found in The Catholic Encyclopedia.

The part on the five fold scapular
Several scapulars may be attached to the same pair of strings or bands; each scapular must of course be complete, and must be attached to both bands. In many cases the five best-known of the early scapulars are attached to the same pair of bands; this combination is then known as the “fivefold scapular”. The five are: the Scapular of the Most Blessed Trinity, that of the Carmelites, of the Servites, of the Immaculate Conception, and the Red Scapular of the Passion. When the scapulars are thus joined together, the bands must be of red wool, as required by the Red Scapular; it is customary to wear the Red Scapular uppermost and that of the Most Blessed Trinity undermost, so that the images specially prescribed in the case of the Red, and the small red and blue cross on the Scapular of the Blessed Trinity, may be visible.

Besides the innumerable graces and indulgences annexed to this devotion, the Popes have granted many Plenary and partial indulgences to those who wear the four Scapulars, (part of the five-fold). The following are the principal indulgences to obtain which no special visit to any particular church is required.
The Enchiridion of Indulgences was completely overhauled and revised by Blessed Pope Paul VI. The indulgences that are listed on that website, which cites grants superannuated, are not correct.

APOSTOLIC CONSTITUTION
OF POPE PAUL VI

INDULGENTIARUM DOCTRINA

WHEREBY THE REVISION
OF SACRED INDULGENCES IS PROMULGATED

Chapter 1
  1. The doctrine and practice of indulgences which have been in force for many centuries in the Catholic Church have a solid foundation in divine revelation(1) which comes from the Apostles and “develops in the Church with the help of the Holy Spirit,” while “as the centuries succeed one another the Church constantly moves forward toward the fullness of divine truth until the words of God reach their complete fulfillment in her.”(2)
    NORMS
    n. 13—The Enchiridion Indulgentiarium [collection of indulgenced prayers and works] is to be revised with a view to attaching indulgences only to the most important prayers and works of piety, charity and penance.
Other indulgences attached to churches and oratories are to be revised as soon as possible.

n.16—The work prescribed for acquiring a plenary indulgence connected with a church or oratory consists in a devout visit and the recitation of an “Our Father” and “Creed.”

n.17—The faithful who use with devotion an object of piety (crucifix, cross, rosary, scapular or medal) properly blessed by any priest, can acquire a partial indulgence.

But if this object of piety is blessed by the Supreme Pontiff or any bishop, the faithful who use it devoutly can also acquire a plenary indulgence on the feast of the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, provided they also make a profession of faith using any legitimate formula.

n.18—To the faithful in danger of death who cannot be assisted by a priest to bring them the sacraments and impart the apostolic blessing with its attendant plenary indulgence (according to canon 468, para. 2 of the Code of Canon Law) Holy Mother Church nevertheless grants a plenary indulgence to be acquired at the point of death, provided they are properly disposed and have been in the habit of reciting some prayers during their lifetime. To use a crucifix or cross in connection with the acquisition of this plenary indulgence is a laudable practice.
