On FoxNews Channel Hannity & Colmes last night, Focus On The Family’s James Dobson stated he woke up from a nightmare he had the previous night at 4 o’clock in the morning.

Dobson stated his dream was Kerry won the Presidential Election and therefore was able to select 4 Supreme Court Justices during his term in office.

Dobson stated Kerry chose Hilary Clinton as one of the Supreme Court Justices and made her Chief Supreme Court Justice. He then stated Hilary Clinton would RE-WRITE the entire CONSTITUTION while she was the Chief Supreme Court Justice.

If Sen. Kerry is Elected President, do you think he would Nominate Pro-Abortion, Pro-Homosexual Hilary Clinton to the US Supreme Court??

While I don’t believe that Dr. James Dobson (one of my favorite psychologists) is psychic, there is reason to be concerned if Kerry is elected. Kerry has said that he will only appoint Judges who are pro-choice (AKA pro-murder). Bush wants to appoint pro-life Judges. So what’s better, pro-murder or pro-life?

I met James Dobson twice when he was on the staff of the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Probably because of these meetings, I always turn the radio whenever he comes on.

His nightmare sounds very familiar, although the names have changed since I last heard it.

Who knows? Who cares? Why cross the bridge before you even come to it???Don’t you have other more pressing things to worry about in your life Plal?

Sparkle,

Who knows, who cares? I CARE! I care if a person like Mrs. Clinton becomes a Supreme Court Judge. What are her qualifications other than she was the wife of an immoral President & she is now and has been an extremely Liberal hippy-type woman. I thnk your last responce was out of bounds, unless you are a hippy type too. In that case it’s right on. :tsktsk:

Didn’t mean to upset you!!! I happen to like and respect Mrs. Clinton very much. BTW–no I am not at all a hippy type–maybe a free thinker though in some regards---- Have you ever read any of her books? I’ve read them all, and I happen to think she’s a wonderful lady~ granted I would choose to vote for another candidate that is pro-life though–however I still have the higest respect for her. She has stuck with her husband thru thick and thin, and I have to hand it to her for this, along with many other things too. Most folks I know, say awful things about her without really knowing a thing about her, similar really, to many folks who say awful things about Catholicism without really knowing anything about it either. Just what they THINK they know. In any regard you, as anybody have a total right to your views, regardless.

God Bless~~

Sparkle,

You respect Mrs. Clinton very much. Did you know that she voted against the Born Alive bill? Sometimes during partial birth abortions babies are born too quickly. Mrs. Clinton believes that these babies should still be killed, even though they are born alive, because the mother intended to kill them. Once I learned this, I stopped believing that Hillary Clinton cares about anyone (other than herself). I just don’t believe she cares about the poor or the sick or the uneducated. I don’t understand how she could vote that way.

I agree with Sparkle. I also happen to like Sen. Clinton, having both spoken with her publicly and read her books. There are so few women who have advanced and succeeded in a “man’s world.”

I recently found out that a close friend had an abortion many years ago. Should I stop believing that she cares about anyone but herself or that she is a horrible person because of this? Or should the sum of the inferences outweight the singular?

Should we get this thread back to the topic of James Dobson?

  1. Your logic is backwards and unCatholic, and your sarcasm is lost on us. Jesus died for all, but mostly for those who have sinned. We desire to heal those women who have been mislead by society and welcome them into our arms, and into the arms of Jesus. I suppose you patted her on the back and said “You GO girl! You’ve come a long way, baby!”
  2. “Succeeding in a man’s world” - by what measure? No matter the measure, it is hardly a qualification for likeability or admirability, and certainly not a qualification for sainthood.
Or the Supreme Court.
  1. Dobson - his nightmare is about as bad as I’ve heard.

Jeane,
I don’t think you read what I posted. Let me post it again for you. Hillary Clinton voted to kill babies that are fully born and alive. Now, do you still respect her?

The subject is Dobson’s nightmare = Hillary

What good are Hillary’s ‘advances and successes’ when she doesn’t believe in the sanctity of life. She is presently voting to kill babies. Is your friend still having abortions? If she was, wouldn’t you try to talk her out of it? I can’t personally talk to Sen. Clinton, but if I could, I would surely implore her to change her mind about abortion etc.

Whatever. This forum is so hypocritical. I just received a PM calling me a “feminist c***” from a member whose initials are T.B. You know where you can go.

Well—I happen to have a very good family friend who is a Psychologist, a wonderful musician and a lesbian.

Does this mean I shouldn’t like her or respect her?

I think not!

You know, the same happened to me, though the comment was made through the old “reputation” system, not PM. I’m sorry you had to read that.

Dear Jeane and Sparkle,

Look, you two will not answer my question. Do you still respect Hillary Clinton after knowing that she thinks it should be legal to kill babies that are fully born and are alive? Does this make you question her judgement? Please tell me you are horrified to learn this.

Jeane

I too am sorry you had to suffer that. However,i think you should
have given the full name as,if you check the members’ list, you will find more than one member fits those initials.
In the 1950’s i had a friend i liked and respected but,later, i would
not have wanted a teenage family member to get too close to him
because he drank too much.Similarly, there are people out there
who can be a bundle of fun for a mature adult but,due to their eye for the ladies,i wouldn’t leave them alone in a room with any 14 year old girls.Even though you like someone, you still have to
disapprove their lifestyle.albeit in a gentle way.
Two or three years ago,i got one of these instant messages on my computer.I accepted it and had quite a pleasant conversation
with what seemed to be a nice guy.He had been married with children but was separated.Literally, within a minute of speaking to me,he was suggesting i invite him to my Flat for coffee as he visited my city quite a lot.He lived about 150 miles away.He was obviously a bisexual and admitted to that lifestyle.Members of the homosexual community have a tendency to say,“because we are gay,we are not necessarily going to jump on you”,implying by that remark that we are just being homophobic.
Well,i am certainly not homophobic.Like i have indicated in another post,i don’t know that someone is Gay unless they behave that way right in front of me.In addition,in this very post i
indicated that i wouldn’t leave a “Ladies’ Man” alone in a room with a teenage girl.
Again, regarding the nasty message you received, not every member is a practising catholic. There is the scruff, and there are the types who feel the need to convert us.

:tsktsk: i can see where this is headed and its not nice. please everyone it was hypothetical question. I can tell there’s gonna be mud-slinging please stop before it gets ugly.
