In a new post on my blog, this week, a comment on an article published in the JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association). It is an evidence-based medicine study (i.e., it is a study of all the medical litterature previously published on a subject), and it concludes that there is no evidence that a foetus feels pain before 28 weeks.
Hence, the article suggests that it would be safer for women aborting not to be given anesthetics as it could harm their health…

Tell me what is your opinion of this type of studies. And primarily: is it important or not that the foetus suffers pain, or is the fact that he is being killed more important?
