Was anyone on CAF a fan of "Ryan's Hope"? Popular Media
Kate Mulgrew, Marg Helgenberger, and Catherine Hicks all appeared on that soap. The now-defunct cable channel SOAPnet showed old episodes of the series back in the day.

I don’t even know who Catherine Hicks is. I never watched soap oprtas.
 
If you’re looking for a judgment on morals, I’d say all three characters mentioned are in trouble.
 
I don’t know what the point is either. If he’s concerned about possible streaming, episodes are already readily available and he had an earlier post announcing that RH was being shown on SoapNet (which is now off the air). If he’s concerned about the morality of a soap, why tell people where they can watch it? Makes.No.Sense.

He didn’t. He was clumsily answering your question (“Is there something about this you want us to know?”). To flesh out the sentence more, he was essentially answering you with:

“I’m wondering if people think Catherine Hicks should be ashamed of her work on Ryan’s Hope.”

I don’t blame you for misunderstanding, since his MO is to always present links with no context or explanation as to why they are being posting on CAF. A little explanation could avoid a lot of this kind of recurring misunderstanding.
