Prayer for Persecuted Christians

Father in Heaven,
Your Son Jesus Christ died for us all. After His glorious
Resurrection He retains the five wounds of his Passion.

With His divine power He sustains all those who suffer
persecution and martyrdom for their fidelity to Christianity.

Merciful and mighty Father, may persecuted Christians
around the world remain, like Mary, our Mother, together
at the foot of the cross of Christ the Martyr.

Comfort those menaced by violence and oppressed by
uncertainty. May the Holy Spirit make fruitful the witness
and the blood of those who die for the faith. Through
Jesus Christ Our Lord, amen.

Intercession for Persecuted Christians

O God of all the nations, the One God who is and was
and always will be, in Your Providence You willed that
Your Church be united to the suffering of Your Son.

Look with mercy on Your servants who are persecuted
for their faith in You. Grant them perseverance and
courage to be worthy imitators of Christ.

Bring Your wisdom upon leaders of nations to work for
peace among all peoples. May Your Spirit open
conversion for those who contradict Your will, that we
may live in harmony.

Give us the grace to be united in truth and freedom,
and to always seek Your will in our lives.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Sweet Jesus give grace of conversion to those who kill and persecute Christians. Show them your mercy and forgive them.

Mary pray for all Christians in world, protect them, ask Jesus to give them strenght and courage to always love Him and follow Him no mater what happens. Ask Jesus to give them love for enemies.
