This seems small compared to so many problems here, but my friend called in tears this morning to tell me her cat has feline leukemia and AIDS. My friend is devastated. Pray for PJ…the cat, and for his humans to make the right decisions concerning what to do for him. I looked this up on the net, and the prognosis is not good. He’s in the last stage of AIDS, so suffering seems to be his lot from now on. 😦

Please dear God bless the beasts and singing birds,
And guard with loving tenderness all things that have no words.

May St. Francios enfold that sweet creature in his loving arms. 😉

Been there, and I sympathize. One way to ease the grief of losing a pet - always have more than one.

Thank you all so much. My friend was a bit surprised when I told her than I put PJ and them on a prayer request forum. She was very comforted to know people would be praying.

God bless you all.

Please I don’t mean to be cold,
but I urge your friend to make his/her final goodbyes to PJ
and have PJ put to sleep and not progress to death by
Feline AIDS.
The reason I say this, is that my best friend’s cat got Feline AIDS, and the little creature died an absolutely horrifying torturous death. The very last stages are brutal on the little animal: seizures, convulsions, etc. My best friend saw that and it tore him apart for months afterwards after the little cat passed away. I would hate for your friend to have to go
through that emotional hell, and would hate for that little cat PJ to suffer like my friend’s cat suffered, it was beyond horrible.
God bless,
