I have a coworker, and her brother is quite ill at this time. She gave a bone
marrow transplant today and the procedure took about 3.5 hours. She said it
took 5 hrs last time and it went quite well today. She will now be giving
white blood cells daily to help brother’s immune system. Can you
please keep both of them in in prayers? Thank you.

This sounds so similar to what Christ did for us. The ultimate sacrafice. We should all be bone marrow donors. God Bless your friend and her brother.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

I have placed your petitions within my heart and will carry them with me to Mass and I will remember your petitions in my daily prayers.

I certainly will keep your coworker and her brother in prayer…

I just received news yesterday that the brother is still in very critical condition. Please keep him in your prayers.

Thank you.

Dear Prayer Warriors:

I received this from my co-worker today:

I have been trying to figure out how to thank each of you for your thoughts and monetary generosity. Since everyone has different offices I decided more of you would see this thank you if I sent it through e-mail. You will never know how much it meant to me that so many of you prayed, sent e-mails and contributed to my gift. Your generosity was overwhelming. I feel like I have another family…I am happy to report that my brother was dismissed from the hospital. He is still down in Omaha and staying in the Nebraska House of the Lied Transplant Center recuperating. His white count has come up so that’s why he got to leave the actual hospital room. This also means the fungus is under control. He has to stay down there for 100 days and has to have someone with him 24 hours but he’s a happy camper. I am back at work and feeling almost 100% percent. Thanks again everyone. We were very blessed.

Thank you and your co worker for the update. I hope and pray that the brother’s recovery will be speedy and total…and praying too that your co worker will very quickly feel back to 100%…
