For a friend and their very ill parent

In your charity, could you please pray for a friend of mine and their very ill, elderly parent.

I do not want to give details on the internet, but the parent is likely terminally ill, and my friend though a nice person and nominally Catholic has not been living according to the teachings of the Church for quite some time.

Thank you for any prayers you can spare. I in turn pray in Jesus’ name for all who post in this thread.

Father pelase bless this person. May they be comforted and may their parent enter the kingdom of heaven to serve our Father forever. May all walk strong in Christ and spread the good news of his word. In your name, Jesus amen!

Please let this person gain strength to care for the parent and both to be reconciled to God in Jesus name amen

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal ( Tis_Bearself’s friend and parent). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Tis_Bearself’s friend and parent’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
