A Prayer to St. Helena, for Intercession

Holy and blessed Saint Helena, with the anguish and devotion with which you sought the Cross of Christ, I plead that you give me God’s grace to suffer in patience the labors of this life, so that through them and through your intercession and protection, I will be able to seek and carry the Cross, which God has placed upon me, so that I can serve Him in this life and enjoy His Glory ever after. Amen.

The problem is her phone number is Macedonian I think and I can only speak Croatian and English not Macedonian.

I’d like to start a go find me page for them but without being able to phone her and speak Macedonian to get bank details etc I don’t know how the donations would get to her.

Yes, definitely. It would all have to be done by a Macedonian, since most of us Americans/ British citizens can’t speak that language. Continuing prayers for them, since that is all I can do for the time being…

PRAYER TO ST. PIUS X

But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (a mother and her two severely disabled sons), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. O dear St. Rose, by the excessive love that inundated your soul when you heard from the lips of Christ the loving words: “Rose of My heart, you shall be My spouse!”–obtain for us and for our children a true love for Jesus Christ and an ardent desire to be united with Him. May our hearts, enclosed in His Heart, seek nothing but the perfection of His virtues, the fullness of His grace, and the imitation of His example! Obtain for us patience in suffering; gentleness under offenses; humility in calumny and abuse; and in all the affairs of life a pure heart and a contented mind. Obtain for us constant and generous renunciation of our willful desires, perfect victory over evil inclination, perseverance in prayer and good works, that we may ever please our God and, in the end, attain to a share in His glory.
