UPDATE: Thank you for your prayers, everyone. After an in-person nudge, my parish leadership did respond and Husband had a meeting last Friday. It sounds like Husband was given a good bit of the information he was looking for, and maybe even more than he’s letting on right now. When he explained to me what he learned (with personal commentary), I noticed and pointed out several points of irrational resistance - and we agreed that much of it will likely melt away in time. So he’s going to sit with this new body of knowledge for a little while, and we’ll see what happens.
