Sending prayers but remember faith without works is dead. Please do the work you need to do on your end. Wishing for a wife won’t make her magically appear. Nor will pining for someone who has been out of your life for an extended period of time as indicated in previous posts. I tell you this not to discourage you but to motivate you.
Read the book the ABC’s of Choosing a Good Husband. Yes, husband (not wife), because that and other female-oriented books will give you insight into what a woman is seeking and what you need to have to provide for a family… stability, job, savings, good habits, etc. Once you have established that foundation go find her.
Circulate in singles organizations, volunteer, be active in online dating Websites (not just Catholic, and if you are a very conservative Catholic also get the Ave Maria Singles lifetime membership- pricey but that’s where you’ll find like minded women), ask priests and other parishioners to set you up on blind dates or introduce you to women. Ask women out. Get out of your comfort zone. If you think, “but I’m shy, introverted, that’s not really me, I won’t find her there, it’s too far, she’ll never go for me” but… but… but… no more excuses. You’re a grown man. Doing the same thing expecting different results is silly.
Look in foreign countries, too. Some women there may have the old fashioned values you are looking for. Look in traditionally Catholic countries/territories: the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Poland, Mexico, Brazil, etc. and meet in person sooner than later.
Don’t develop a crush or feed feelings for weeks without finding out if a girl is interested or available and asking her out. She may be taken or not interested and you may have just wasted a lot of time and energy. If she does turn you down, at least you know and can move on to find the right girl. Why keep her waiting any longer?
