For all those who do not have enough food

There are more then 1 billion of our brothers and sisters who live in poverty and starve to death.This is absolutely terrible.Every day,thousands of children die from lack of food and water.:mad: We must do something to help!Please send them money and help them in any way you can,and please pray hard for them!Just see how desperate it is-

I just spent 2 hours this morning stocking up for the weekend and the coming week. I went to two differen stores. My freezer is so full things are packed in there. I’m going to freeze the red beans and rice because we want something else for the weekend, and we’ll have the redbeans and rice again in a couple of weeks.

As I was putting the cheerios away I got all choked up and all of a sudden, out of the blue, for no apparent reason, I felt this huge amount of gratitude for all of these groceries I was putting away.

I immediately said a prayer of thanks as I wiped away tears.

Lord, please help us all to remember to be generous with what You have given us, and to be grateful for what we have. Please end poverty and hunger worldwide. Amen.

I agree that this is a huge problem. I donate to Food For the Poor often but should donate a lot more.

Thanks for raising up this prayer request. I am praying for them tonight, and may they get spiritual food and drink as well.
 
I also contribute to Food For the Poor, might I suggest what we did for Christmas this year was to support the Gifts that Keep Giving. They are farm animals that can be used to give nourishment to families and continue to reproduce. We gave 20 chicks and three piglets.

We pray for our sisters and brothers who do not have enough this day. We pray for those who’d like to just have our refuse to go through. Bring them dignity in their effort to survive and keep the hope in their hearts alive. Bring them volunteers who can help them in small steps to build lives for themselves. We pray for those mostly who know nothing or care nothing for these poor, that they will be enlightened about the plight of so many of our brothers and brought to action. I thank the Lord in Heaven for all the my own family has and ask that when I can to rm’r to share with those who have little. Amen.
 
It’s so sad - I meet a homeless woman last week who was begging for money for food. It’s such a shame that in the richest country in the world, that there are still homeless people who don’t have enough food.😦

Lord you have provided and provide sufficient that no one need go hungry nor homeless…open our eyes and hearts in the West and grant that we will supply to the third world of our richness and excess and even of what we may need but could go without. Forgive us Lord and grant us hearts of flesh…feed your children everywhere giving them homes…Keeping in daily pryaer

Poverty is a terrible issue…

I pray that people will realize and care about how important helping these people living in poverty. I pray that people will work to help them and that we will think about them and take action. :gopray2:
