On Wednesday Bishop Robert Morlino of Madison, Wisconsin, had a “cardiac event” (the Diocese did not say the extent or if it was a full heart attack).

Please pray for him that he makes a full recovery.

Prayers for the healing and recovery of Bishop Morlino and that his assistants will be able to keep things running while he takes the time he needs to get well.
In Jesus’ Name I humbly pray. Thank you in advance. Amen.

Our Lady, St. Joseph, St. Luke, St. Raphael and St. John of God, and all the sainted bishops, please pray for Bishop Morlino. Thank you. Amen.

Diocese of Madison put out a news release that is being shared on Facebook.

The Bishop is not doing well and they’re asking us to pray for a miracle.
Your urgent prayers are needed –The following message was sent to the priests of the Diocese of Madison, from our Vicar General, Msgr. James Bartylla, moments ago:

Dear Brothers in Christ,

Thank you for all of your prayers in recent hours. I write with an update of heavy news in regards to our beloved Bishop Robert Morlino. Whereas yesterday morning held a number of good reasons for hope for the recovery of the bishop, today has been filled with a number of disappointments in that regard. Unfortunately, matters have continued to turn for the worst and it is likely that our hope lays in a miracle at this point. In particular, we are asking for the miraculous intercession of Ven. Samuel Mazzuchelli. I would ask that in addition to prayers for a miracle, you also pray that if and when the time comes, the Bishop would be given the grace of a happy death and may look soon upon the face of our God, The Vision which shall not disappoint.

In prayer for our beloved Bishop, Msgr. Jim
In Christ,

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Bishop Robert Morlino). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Bishop Robert Morlino’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

I am sad to announce that the Diocese of Madison confirmed that Bishop Morlino passed away last night.

Eternal rest grant unto your servant, Bishop Robert Charles Morlino, oh Lord. And may light perpetual shine upon him.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Dear LORD, may Bishop Morlino be in the company of your angels as he beholds you in all your glory…in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

In the name of the Father,
and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. (x10)

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy,
hail, our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To you we cry, the children of Eve;
to you we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this land of exile.
Turn, then, most gracious advocate,
your eyes of mercy toward us;
lead us home at last
and show us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus:
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

Praying for your intention

Philippians 4:6-7 : Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
