Just look at what you quoted! Proof positive that even Mohamed didn’t have his facts straight. Your Koran claims we worship Mary as a god. Your Koran makes the same mistake Protestants make. That right there is an indication that your book is anything but Divinely inspired. Read the above link and learn. I pray to the Most Holy Trinity for you to accept the Truth.

Thats not why I became muslim from christian, its why I became muslim from being agnostic.

Well now you will be willing to try the true faith. The one God has given us. God ready the world for the messiah by taking the Jews as the chosen people. God sent his Word the Messiah to the Jewish people. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, giving his life for us, even to the point of death. He has remained with us since in the Eucharist. I know that Christian religions have fallen short. I realize that human in the Catholic Church have let her down but Jesus has not. Jesus is still present in every tabernacle of the World.
Go to a Catholic Church, kneel down and worship the Christ. You will feel his presence. You will know that he is there and that he loves you and died for you.

I personaly wouldn’t convert no matter what.

In my area there is a few muslim families, i see their way of life.

I see the way their women are treated.

I’ve been with a Muslim boy before, i was dating him for 14 months.

In that 14 months, he mentaly abused me, calling me names, wouldn’t let me out of my own home and even wanted me to marry him at 15 years old.

He tried to make me convert to Islam.
I read his Quran, not to be ignorant to him and his religion…but i wouldn’t do it…i couldn’t go from Jesus.

I also strongly disagree with the Jihad and the Hijab.

Where in the Quran does it say that you kill people and make women cover? I didn’t find it.

What i also do not understand is :

Why so many Islamic millitants and bombers when Allah condemn’s murder?

I don’t have anything against a person, just the religion, i’ve just had a bad time with it.

Muslim boys/men are supposed to lower their gaze and not look at women, outside of their wife and close family. They cant look at women, let alone be alone with them, let alone date them. The fact that this boy choose to date you means he isnt following the basics of Islam which probably means hes neglecting to follow a lot of Islam…and God knows best.

Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. (Quran 24:30)

Jihad is what every good person does. It is an internal struggle between the evil that your self may want to do and the good that you know is right.

Hijab is God’s gift to women. He gave them their bodies and also gave them the RIGHT to protect it.

Muslims are allowed to kill people during a time of war. We are not allowed to kill innocent people, so your right.

WOW. That one really takes the cake. If I had seen that sura before, then for some reason I do not remember. I can’t think of any Christian sect in history that ever worshipped Mary as a “god”. I had seen some things before that hinted to me that it may have been Mohammed dictating to people from what were purely his own misguided impressions of Christianity, but this makes me see no other possibility.

Interesting question Grace. For one thing, right off the top of my head, is this:

Jesus walked among His people who witnessed His miracles. They were seen, proven and written about by numerous people. Many saw Him heal the sick, revive the dead and comfort the sinner. Many saw Him crucified, buried and arise from that death. Many miracles were witnessed. On top of that He preached nothing but love.

Muhammed said he heard the word of God. No one else heard it. There were no witnesses. He performed no witnessed miracles. He died at a young age compared to other Prophets he claimed came before him. He preached nothing new to confirm or deny previous Prophets. He killed a sinner by stoning (although reluctantly according to Muslim’s here).

If I were on a jury, Jesus wins.

It would take a reversal by muslim teachers saying that Jesus is divine and the second person of the Holy Trinity. It would take a change in Islamic teaching to conform to the doctrines of the Church as declared by Church Councils and by Catholic scriptures.

It would take Catholic divine revelations to be accepted by Islam. It would take major changes to the Koran where they contradict Church teachings and Biblical writings. It would have to accept the real presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist, and accept all the sacraments as our faith teaches them.

In other words, Islamic teachings would have to become virtually identical with Catholic doctrines, and it would take Heaven declaring that Islam is the sucessor faith to Christianity through revelations on par with Lourdes, Fatima.

In fact Islam would in effect have to become Catholic in just about every respect before I could accept it as true.

It would have to totally renounce violence, and it would have to embrace Christian principles and doctrines.

Basically, I would have to be totally insane, possessed by demons or so full of drugs that my thinking was totally screwed up and I didn’t know which way was up or down.
