For courage and fortitude against power lust

My Lord, my eyes and ears have seen and heard such a coordinated cacophony of negative news directed toward some while being downplayed for others seemingly more corrupted in their behavior. Your 8th Commandment is being trampled flat by many in pursuit of political power.

I know You are strong in my heart and in the hearts of other believers. May we stand United against the onslaught. Please hear my prayer for the noble people of Peru and those elsewhere under siege against democratic principles. Guide us in our actions for Your justice. Amen.
