Please pray for my very good friend and her family at this time. She took her final vows in Rome on December 8th with the Missionaries of Charity. I would be very grateful, as would she and her family, for prayers for my friend, her family (who are not Catholic and find it all a little hard to accept even though they very much show their support to her) and the other 15 sisters who had final vows also. Thanks and prayers to all of you in advance.
Catherine 🙂

Praying

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Praying for friend’s final vows.

Our Father Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses; as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

How very wonderful…final vows and in Rome. What a momentous occasion for her and her fellow sisters. Will be keeping them all in daily prayer. Praying too for your friend’s family - it can be very difficult for non Catholics to understand the great joy of a religious vocation and indeed final vows and a life given totally to God…
