For God to soften a hardened heart

I’m in need of prayers for a loved one, as she has hardened her heart against me and has been afraid to be vulnerable with me and to spend time with me despite the fact that I have seen that she loves me a lot (to the point of moving to my hometown to be with me). Moreover, I sense that she has gradually lost her trust in God over the past few months as a result of her inability to fully say yes to and do God’s will for us to be together and eventually get married. Please pray that God may soften her heart and ease her doubts, fears, and anxieties about the love that He has given us and His will for us. Please pray that God may give her the grace that she needs to increase her trust in Him again. Please pray that she may be healed from any hurts that she may have suffered in past relationships and that she may allow herself to be loved again. Please also pray for me, that I may be able to continue to trust in God and not give up on her. Thanks!
 
I’m praying for you and that loved one. May God heal her of anxiety and the lack of trust she has. May God bring you closer together than you’ve ever been.

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon TradViolin’s friend in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
    And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
