For Grandma again

All your prayers were such a blessing last month when my grandmother went into the hospital and assisted care facility. Now we’ve learned that she has a 90% blockage in her carotid artery and had a series of mini strokes last week. Please help me pray for comfort and peace for Helen, my awesome, tough, 94-yr-old grandma.

Jesus, Divine Physician and healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. Comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we palce our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you limit the suffering of your servant. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge you holy will and know that whatsoever you do, you do for the love of us… AMEN
 
Thank you all for your prayers. Grandma is stable now, and we think she’s bouncing back quickly from the stroke activity. The latest MRI this morning revealed that her carotid artery is actually 100% blocked. This means they can’t operate but she’ll be on 3 months of medication and is going to stay at the care facility. That’s a blessing in disguise since having her at the house alone (and trying to drive!) was pretty scary.
 
wow, she has had a full life. I pray that God gives her comfort in here remaining years.

Thanks so much for your prayers. She is one of my heroes! She didn’t slow down a bit until her 94th birthday. She paid for my father’s and uncle’s college education herself without ever letting grandpop forget he was the “man” around the house. Unfortunately, she has never really found God in her life, so she needs prayers for spiritual healing even more than physical.

This is so sad… She really does need God in her life… I will be praying for him to come to her.
Father, please come into this womans heart… Allow her to feel your presence and accept you as her Lord and Savior. Physical healing is so much easier when you have a spiritual healing… Her family needs to receive strength from you during this time of trial… Please accept my humble prayer Lord… In Jesus name I pray… AMEN

I am:crossrc: praying for your grandma’s physical health, & also for her :crossrc:spiritual health as well. May she find God an everpresent Help, as she continues to heal physically.:crossrc:
