Spied this video and got worried, are black people not generally accepted into the Ukrainian patrimony, of course not all, or even a majority of any people are racist, but if a black person was to join a ukranian Greek catholic Chirch or even be ordained, would they face these sentiments?

I would disagree with his view that the only effective methods of combat are assassination and terror. (0:25). Also he appears to be prejudiced against Blacks, Chinese, Jews and Russians. (2:17).

FYI - Some of the posts on that YouTube thread claim that the video was doctored.

I’m not saying the video is a fake or real… but I would look for a better source. The translation might be bad and/or the audio might be part fake.

The person posting the video may not be the most credible source for this. Most of the videos on this person’s channel seem to be about the evil Ukrainian Military killing civilians. He also uses the term uniate to describe Greek Catholics, which I get the impression is more of a derogatory word.

This is all good news , I have grown to love the Ukrainian Greek catholic church, and I’m non Ukrainian nor even Slavic, so I would not want it to be tainted with ethnocentrism

This was a Sunday sermon delivered by Father Mikhaylo Arsenych in 2010. He is a Ukrainian Eastern Catholic priest who serves in the Kolomiya- Chernivtsi Diocese . The sermon and the video are authentic and have not been doctored. The speech of this Catholic priest has been condemned both by the Head of the UGCC and the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine.
