I read the original Jerusalem Bible (1966). I have the big one that comes with the heavy slipcover. It is so good to study with. The problem is getting a good carry around text edition. I have bought used softcovers but they don’t hold up so well. I have also bought the reprinted hardback by doubleday. The print is blurry. I have recently come across the UK version via Powells books. I received mine yesterday and am very pleased. It’s a nice blue cloth hardback. The print is better. It cost a few dollars more and takes a few weeks to get. You can only get via the website.
