When human laws are ignored for even the most righteous Of purposes, as St. Thomas More is depicted as saying, the devil gets the power he desires. Please pray with me for those who uphold the laws that protect us, where we live and the community peace we desire.
 
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,
which is love and Mercy itself.
Amen…
 
Gracious and merciful Father, please come to their assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wiles and wickedness of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

I pray that the Lord blesses the officers with the ability to do their job with accuracy and compassion. May He bless them for their hard work. Amen.
