Dear St. Thérèse,
You are a prodigy of miracles, the greatest saint
of modern times, and a doctor of the Church.

Beloved Little Flower, you struggled for every breath
in the final weeks of your young life. In your kindness,
please intercede for Lin, who has COVID.

Please pray that God will: lower her fever; clear her
lungs; quiet her cough; comfort her; strengthen
her; hasten her recovery; and grant her a full life
on earth and a home in eternal glory.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord Jesus, Who went about doing good
and healing all, we ask You to bless Your friends who are sick.

Give them the strength in body,
courage in spirit, and patience in pain.
Let them recover their health, so that,
restored to the Christian community,
they may joyfully praise Your Name,
for You live and reign forever and ever.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Lin). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Lin’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayers for Lin ~

O Lord my God and Savior, You rule over all things;
You are our physician and comfort in sickness; You deliver us from pain.

You stretched forth Your hand to save Your apostle Peter as he was sinking in water. Grant now Your merciful aid to Lin and heal her. And as I trustingly call on You, restore them to health in your loving kindness.

O long-suffering Lord, show them Your compassion and mercy that they may glorify your divine power
and bless Your holy Name, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and ever and forever.
