Dear friends in Christ: Linda suffers from severe PTSD. Please join me in prayer for her.

Prayer of St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, You graciously chose St. Dymphna as
patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional, and
nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and a symbol
of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure,
youthful martyr, relief, and consolation to all suffering
such trials – especially Linda, who suffers from PTSD.

We beg You, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna
on our behalf. Grant all those for whom we pray patience
in their sufferings and resignation to Your divine will.
Please fill them with hope and grant them the relief and
cure they so desire. We ask this through Christ our Lord,
who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.

Holy Mary, help those in need, give strength to the weak, comfort the sorrowful, pray for God’s people, assist the clergy, intercede for religious. May all who seek your help experience your unfailing protection. Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wiles and wickedness of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Linda). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Linda’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear Lord be Linda’s protector and defender in this time of trouble. Surround her with the Holy Angels, so that she may emerge from every danger in the fullness of health and well being. Guide her life journey, so she will always walk safely together with you, in God’s protection and friendship.

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake,
or watch, or weep tonight, and give Your angels and saints charge over those who sleep. Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest Your weary ones. Bless Your dying ones. Soothe Your suffering ones. Pity Your afflicted ones. Shield Your joyous ones, and all for Your loves sake.

and Hope, look upon Linda in this time of unrest.
Please bring her needs to your Divine Son: that
God’s gentle peace, which this world cannot give,
be with her always; that God will give her the grace

And thank you, Heavenly Father, for the healing you have granted to those who suffered from complex PTSD and other mental infirmities. When all is darkness and we feel our weakness and helplessness, give us the sense of Your Presence,Your Love and Your Strength.
