Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
Please join me in prayer for Michelle, who underwent
nine hours of back surgery. She remains in the hospital
for now. She’s in a lot of pain. God bless you, as always.

Prayer to the Blessed Mother

Mary, full of grace, spiritual mother to those in need,
I fervently request your intercession for Michelle, who
is recovering from surgery and needs God’s miraculous
assistance.

Stay near Michelle with your maternal protection. Console
her anxious heart. Please pray that her physical and emotional
sufferings be a source of purification and growth for eternal life.
Through your son, Jesus Christ, amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Michelle). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Michelle’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear St. Thérèse,
You are a prodigy of miracles, the greatest saint
of modern times, and a doctor of the Church.
Beloved Little Flower, you gasped for every breath
as tuberculosis choked your young life.

Before your death, you promised: "When I die, I will
send down a shower of roses from the heavens.
I will spend my heaven by doing good on earth.”

In your understanding, please shower miraculous
roses on Michelle, who is in great pain after
undergoing back surgery.

Please pray that God will grant Michelle: pain relief;
courage and determination during physical therapy;
complete restoration of her back; comfort, peace,
and patience; the fullness of life here on earth; and
a home in eternal glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
