Hello, I’m 23 yo and I am 10 years fighting masturbation and pornography always failing every time. I don’t know what can I do to stop this addiction, I always confess and pray but I lack strength to resist the temptation. And I also suffer from scrupulosity and overthinking what increases my anguish. I know I need help but the while the pandemic continues I will have to wait a while.

Please pray for me and I’ll pray for you all

Heavenly Father,
Show Thalisrubero, how this life has 2 worlds. We are in two worlds. The world of the flesh w the devil. The second world is the Spirit world w You. We are to be IN the world but NOT IF the world. Help her through Your grace to overcome her temptation for sensual behaviors. Show her, she is a treasure! She is not a sex object or toy. Guide her to the path for her Spirit, as she grows closer to You. Help her to be “CLEAN BEFORE MY LORD!”

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Now, throw away any items you have around that tempts you to sin. Never watch movies involving sexual matters. Don’t read romance books. Join a Bible study at your church. Forgiveness clears past sins. THEN, we REPENT! Turn away & sin no more.

Those are poignant prayers. Repeat them when your mind wanders to sin. Do not walk, in a path that leads to temptation.
Each hour is a new hour.
You are not alone. One Saint wore scratchy wool gloves when he slept. Hands would wander. SIGH!
