Please pray for my home computer to work. It just won’t turn on all of a sudden. All my files are there. I also don’t have extra money to spare for computer repairs at this point.

Hi Str84ward, I might be able to help, is it a laptop or a desktop? There is a very good chance all your files are still fine whether it’s a laptop or a desktop, so even if worst case scenario, just don’t throw it out, because chances are you can still get all your information (And keep a perfectly fine SSD or Hard Drive).

If it doesn’t do anything when pressing the on button, my first guess would be simply a PSU (Power Supply Unit) problem, and if you purchased pre-built and it’s a desktop, not knowing much about computers, some people chuck a cheap and nasty PSU in, which can die, it’s usually around a $70 USD fix (To buy a new quality one and install it yourself) depending on your system components, unless it’s still under warranty?

Praying for your intention. And Praying that if it needs to be repaired you will receive the funds to do so. Have you checked to see if it is plugged in and receiving power from an outlet? Try plugging it in elsewhere or plugging something else into the outlet If it is plugged into a known working outlet and it does not turn on at all it is probably the computer’s internal power supply module that needs to be replaced. (I am a computer tech). All of your files should still be there.

One thing you could try is unplugging it and letting it sit for awhile. The power supply is unusually that expensive.
 
I couldn’t edit my last post. Should be power supply is not usually that expensive.
 
It most likely is, I’m just too cheap to buy another one. Really cutting back on every penny I can because I’m getting married this year.
