For my confirmation - finally

Please pray that nothing happens again to keep me from being Confirmed during the Easter Vigil this Saturday.

I have been actively trying to have this accomplished for more than 8 years. Each time I get a little closer. In the 8 years my daughter has received her sacraments and my husband has converted and is now in full communion. Me, I’m still hoping that it will happen for me some day (soon!)

So please pray that there is no illness, death, accident, snow storm, flooding or any other tragedy that will once again delay my being given the sacrament of confirmation. Thank you.
 
May nothing stop you from being fully initiated into the Church this year. May God watch over you and keep you safe from all that could harm you or stand in your way this Easter Vigil. Amen.
 
May Mary our Blessed Mother and all the saints and companies of angels intercede on your behalf. Amen.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed by Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
 
Praying that you’ll make it to the Easter Vigil and get confirmed…

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, turn your ear to my prayer. Amen
