For my cousin

My cousin has announced that she will be “transitioning” and becoming male. I’m very upset for her and her family. Her parents are Catholic and raised her Catholic and I don’t know how they’re dealing with it but I would imagine not well.

Any prayers would be appreciated.

Praying for your cousin and her family. May your cousin not go through with any self-mutilation and find spiritual guiance and support from a holy priest and counselor. May she grow to feel comfortable with herself the way she is (a woman) and be surrounded by the love and concern of her family and friends. May her family and friends have the right words to properly help this suffering woman. Amen.
