My friend Emily was just diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.

She is in her late 20s, was just married in April, and recently bought a house with her husband. She was experiencing some slurred speech and apparently suffered a seizure. It was only then she received her diagnosis. The type of brain tumor is a glioma, and it’s not completely operable.

Please offer her prayers for her, her recovery, and her family. Thank you.

kindness, please intercede for Emily, who has has
a brain tumor.

Please pray that God will grant her: the gift of healing;
comfort during times of unbearable pain; peace and
patience in suffering; the fullness of life here on earth;
and a home in eternal glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer for Those With Cancer

God of Healing Mercy,
In Jesus Your Son You stretch out Your
hand in compassion, restoring the sinner,
healing the sick, and lifting up those bowed
down. Embrace Emily, in Your loving care.

We humbly ask You to remove all cancerous
cells from her brain and the rest of her body.
Bring her to health in soul and body, that with
joy and thanksgiving, she may praise You for
Your goodness.

Through the same Jesus Christ, Who lives
and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one
God forever and ever. Our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Those With Cancer

Blessed Mother, health of the sick, You brought
forth into our world Jesus Christ, our Divine Healer.
In Your caring goodness, intercede for all those
in need of assistance.

May Emily and all others who are sick be healed
from all forms of cancer. Ask our gracious Savior
to grant her physical health, inner peace, and
patience in suffering.

May God’s healing graces grant all with cancer
a life of happiness, health, and fulfillment here
on earth, and one day the joy of eternal glory in
His loving embrace. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal ( Emily). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Emily’s neighbor’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

For many years, you bore in your own flesh – cancer, which
destroys the very fiber of our being. When the power of man
could do no more, you were favored with the vision of Jesus
coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God
and Our Lady, the cure of Emily, whom we entrust to you.

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing
to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great
goodness and mercy. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
