For my friend with suspected depression

When you have the time, please pray for my friend of several years who’s fighting what appears to be a depressive disorder. Pray that his session with a counselor tomorrow proves to be helpful in bettering his mental health. Thanks guys
 
I’m praying for your friend. May the Lord make this treatment successful and may He heal him of depression.
 
Prayer of St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, You graciously chose St. Dymphna as patroness of those afflicted
with mental, emotional, and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and
a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure youthful martyr, relief and
consolation to all suffering such trials, and especially those for whom we pray.

We beg You, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna on our behalf. Grant all those
for whom we pray patience in their sufferings and resignation to Your divine will.
Please fill them with hope, and grant them the relief and cure they so desire.

We ask this through Christ our Lord, who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.
 
Praying that this counseling session tomorrow goes well and is a start of a treatment plan for your friend’s potential depressive disorder.

Thank you all for your prayers. My friend has been directed to the school’s psychologist who’s more qualified to help him than the sort-of peer counselor they went to
