For my mom

My mom has a toothache and will be seeing the dentist today. Even if all she needs is filling it could be a problem because of a heart condition and a terminal disease she is living with (her breathing is compromised). She bears her crosses with such courage and faith so maybe the prayers are more for me. Either way I ask for your prayers.

For the greater glory of God - may His perfect will be done.

Prayer for your mother and you at Mass this morning.
God bless you both. I will ask God’s help for her breathing and regarding her illnesses.
May God give you and your mother comfort and peace. It must be very difficult for you to see her so ill.
 
My mom is doing well. She had an abcess and she had the tooth pulled. I’m still a little concerned about the choking possibility especially over night. Maybe it will end up being no big deal but I’m dealing with complications and unknowns.

Thank you all for you prayers. They are what I’m hanging onto.

I’m asking for more prayers. She has started using a PEG tube for nutrition (she does consume some by mouth but almost entirely liquid) and it’s not going well. She experiences “Dumping Syndrome” and I think she is consuming less (a lot less) as a result. We are seeking a nutritional consultation about this but if you would please pray. This makes the end seem a lot closer and now I really don’t know what to expect.

Thanks all for your prayers. I can’t say that we are our of the woods yet with the PEG tube and nutrition but my mom seems to be accepting that there may be some discomfort for a time until this gets worked out and is taking a larger amount and I’m not as worried this morning.
