Please, I need all the prayers I can get. I’ve studied hard, went to office hours, and there is still a lot of things I don’t understand in statistics. As for sociology, I’d imagine it would be easy, but, this is a new professor, so there was no practice exam from previous years, and for all I know it could be difficult.

Praying that you may recall and apply all that you have learned as you take your midterms, and that you may be free from needless anxiety.

The curse of finals week. 😜 St. Joseph of Cupertino, pray for us! St. Catherine, pray for us! All doctors of the church, pray for us. Holy Spirit, bringer of wisdom, make us worthy to receive Your knowledge!

Prayer Before a Test
Lord Jesus,
You understand the difficulties humans face,
and the pressure I am under right now.
I ask that you guide me as I take this test,
so that I may do my best.
Open my mind,
Clear my thoughts,
Relax my mind and body,
And grant me perfect concentration,
So I may use the knowledge I have gained,
To build up your kingdom,
For the good of all. Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

†

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
