A Protestant friend of mine specifically requested that I come here to the Catholic Answers Forum and ask for prayers for her mother.

The mother is sick with chills and fever, in delicate overall health, and the worry is that last time she had a fever she was hospitalized.

In my friend’s words:
Please, she is dainty and I’d ask for prayer request on the web site for Helen, with fever, that it wouldn’t set in but lick it, or be calmed if is an intestinal problem… you know how to word it. She went into the hospital last year with a fever from a flare-up of diverticulitis.
Thank you in advance!

Dear Lord, I ask that you wrap Your healing arms around Helen, and restore her to full health, that she may be a witness to Your power and might. In Jesus name we pray.

Hear us, Lord, and send your angel from heaven to visit and protect Helen. To comfort her during this time of illness. O, Jesus, I humbly implore you to grant your special healing graces for her. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior. AMEN

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Please say the following prayer right now to release 1,000 souls from purgatory (Approval and Recommendation signed by M. Cardinal Pahiarca, Lisbon, Portugal March 4, 1936.): Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy Souls in Purgatory. Amen

Will continue to keep Helen in prayer. Good news and thanksgiving that the problem is not getting worse and that she is on the road to recovery - which I pray will be speedy and complete…
