I need lots of prayers to the Holy Spirit to fill me up with discernment and truth, so that I will speak the truth about my entire life and all of my sins, that have hurt Jesus.

I want and need to choose Him first, over myself and my selfish desires and to repent and to confess all of my sins.

I will be making my first ever, full life review and confession very soon.

Thank you and God bless you all.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful.
And kindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.
And you will renew the face of the earth.

Lord,
by the light of the Holy Spirit
you have taught the hearts of your faithful.
In the same Spirit
help us to relish what is right
and always rejoice in your consolation.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,

Mother of Tranquility

and Mother of Hope,

look upon mary15 in this time

of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart

to know that God’s Love

for her is unchanging and

unchangeable, and, that

true human love can only

begin and grow by touching

His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -

which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this

same Peace into the lives

of others.

Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!
Amen.

Jesus, Help Me!

In every need let me come to You with humble trust,

saying:

Jesus, help me!

In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations:

Jesus, help me!

In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials:

Jesus, help me!

In the failure of my plans and hopes, in disappointments,

troubles and sorrows:

Jesus, help me!

When others fail me, and Your Grace alone can assist me:

Jesus, help me!

When I throw myself on Your tender Love as Savior:

Jesus, help me!

When my heart is cast down by failure, at seeing no good

come from my efforts:

Jesus, help me!

When I feel impatient, and my cross irritates me:

Jesus, help me!

When I am ill, and my head and hands cannot work and

I am lonely:

Jesus, help me!

Always, always, in spite of weakness, falls and short-

comings of every kind:

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, help me and never forsake me!

Amen

Prayer for the Help of the Holy Spirit

O God, send forth Your Holy Spirit into my heart that
I may perceive; into my mind, that I may remember; and
into my soul, that I may meditate. Inspire me to speak
with piety, holiness, tenderness, and mercy.

Teach, guide, and direct my thoughts and senses from
beginning to end. May Your grace ever help and correct
me. And may I be strengthened now with wisdom from
on high, for the sake of Your infinite mercy. Through
Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Thanks and bless you so much for all of your kind and loving posts of support and love.

I finally got the big bad confession done of all of my sins, even the ones where I was not culpable or only somewhat culpable given my age of being under 7 or under 17. I was to confess to doing anything at all that was evil even if led by parents or not quite understanding as a teenageer what I was doing and the full consequence of my actions.

This need to confess to all things for my whole life was given to me as a task that was required to make me sqeeky clean to fulfill the basic and ongoing work of my exorcist to help me. Bless the priest who lovingly led me through all 10 commandments and over all decades of my life, giving me formation and counsel all along the way.

He is a courageous and heroic priest for agreeing to doing this, and fully comprehends why this needs to be done in concert with the direction of the official exorcist of the Archdiocese.

Thank you for these magnifecently beautiful prayers. I will cherish them and refer back to them to continue praying for the Holy Spirit to give me its fruits of discerment, wisdom, knowledge, peace and joy.

Thanks so much for CA for providing these forums.

I will transmit extra prayers for your renewal and for guidance of the priests ministering to you. Consider reflecting on encouraging Psalms (27, 34, 91, etc.). Whether you feel joyous or discouraged, please continue engage with your CAF friends. We are here for you…

Praying for you! I did my full life review and first Confession a couple years ago. One thing that might surprise you in the end, in the Confessional, is how quickly it’s over!

Best suggestion I have to offer (based on what worked for me) is the shorthand of ‘Worst First’. Whatever you’re most scared or embarrassed to confess, start with that, and the rest is easier (you don’t need to keep that apprehension up as you ‘approach’ something embarrassing that you saved for the end).

And remember: Pray to the Holy Spirit beforehand, and do your best to honestly remember (and confess for!) everything. Do not knowingly leave anything out (this Confession is for your sake! Not the priest’s or God’s or anyone else’s. Go all-in). And at the same time, once you’re finished and God grants you absolution through the priest… remember that God knows everything, even the stuff you forgot, and you really are forgiven for the forgotten stuff, too. 🙂 Have peace. Even if afterwards you remember something you forgot to say… let it go. Have peace . God knew, and He already forgave you for it. Confession/Reconciliation frees us from anxiety. Do your best, before and during the Confession… and then let God give you His best. 🙂 His forgiveness is real, and it doesn’t depend on our ‘feeling’ forgiven, or on our having forgotten (or even known) any particular sin. He’s just asking for our will, to turn to Him with everything we do know and remember. He’ll take care of the rest. Like sending bees against the enemies that hide from you. Deuteronomy 7:20.

Thanks so much. There are indeed priests ministering to me as well as a team. Thank you for the referrals to the various encouraging psalms.

There is a great need to fill my mind with prayer and with scripture now. I have to work hard at this and have faith in his prayers and the rite to free me.

Purification was the first step,

Thanks so much everyone for helping me to purify myself!

Thanks for your (name removed by moderator)ut here, I do appreciate your feedback.

Most certainly, I felt only embarrassed at first, but then realized the full gravity of the situation: My mortal soul was in danger.

I felt freed to speak for the first time in my life about the unspeakable, as I felt that I had nothing more to lose at all, except my life.

We need more courageous and heroic priests like this one and we should all be praying mightily for those in the prieshood right now, and really support them on a daily basis.

There are many times, I dont think he has even the time to eat a decent meal for dinner.

God bless all who read and prayed here. Thank you.

@pollylodges, thank you for the beautiful prayer of Our Lady of Mental Peace. That was so soothing to pray. It was so spot on, and comforting. God bless you.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. x10

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
