For the repose of DH's grandmother's soul

My husband’s maternal grandmother died yesterday after a serious illness. She was 89.

Please keep the family in your prayers, especially my mother-in-law who is fighting a battle with alcoholism. She has been sober now for a few months and I hope that she can get through this without backsliding.
 
Lord God, to your mercy we owe our forgiveness and salvation.
Grant that you servant who has departed from this life,
may be admitted into
everlasting happiness
through the intercession of the
Blessed Virgin Mary
and all of your saints.
Father, bless this family with the strength they
need during this time of suffering.
Lord, place angels around the alcoholic woman and
grant her peace and understanding.
We ask this in the name of
Jesus Christ.
