Please pray for the soul of a good friend of mine, Ray Theunssen, who passed away this morning. She was 84. I received a phone call from her daughter informing me of her passing.

For many years she taught Sunday School at St. Francis of Assisi. We became friends when I became a member of the Parish and joined RCIA around four years ago. I would often give her a lift to Mass (she couldn’t drive anymore due to a stroke she had years ago) until she had to move into a retirement home for health reasons.

It breaks my heart that I wasn’t there for her.

May the Angels accompany the soul of Ray to the loving embrace of Jesus. May she have rest within that embrace forever. i will remember Ray in my prayers. I also ask God to comfort you, loosing someone we love is hard, my prayers are also with you. Stay close to the Heart of our Merciful Savior and He will never leave you. God Bless you.
 
O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
 
May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of GOd, rest in peace. Amen.
 
For the dearly departed…may they be at peace in the arms of Our Lord…
