Where I live, there a ton of people going back to school or maybe starting a new chapter in school soon. I ask for prayers for all who are doing so around the world, that they may work hard and not be led astray by false teaching or mainstream university culture. Let’s also pray for those whose formal schooling is over, that their education and constant conversion doesn’t cease with it.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ,

May the gifts of wisdom and knowledge of Your Holy Spirit fill the minds of students of all ages. Grant them the discernment to recognize what is not of you, and the holy boldness to speak out with your peace what is of you.

May your holy truth fill their minds!

Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom…pray for us!

Wow, that’s early. My university doesn’t begin until late September, thank God.

I’m praying for all the little children. I remember my first days in the lower years. I HATED THEM.

Praying that the Lord may grant all necessary graces to all these children. Also praying for those whose for formal schooling is over.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Prayer of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton:

O Father, the first rule of our dear Savior’s life
was to do Your Will.
Let His Will of the present moment
be the first rule of our daily life and work,
with no other desire
but for its most full and complete accomplishment.
Help us to follow it faithfully,
so that doing what You wish
we will be pleasing to You.

Amen.

Our Gentle Jesus,

Send your angels to guide and protect all those who are returning to school… Allow the spiirt of wisdom and understanding be with them always and monitor their every step. Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Praying for all children starting school- my third is going into kindergarten and I’m so nervous! May God grant that they all have a safe and successful school year.

Prayer to Our Lady for College Students

O Mary, Seat of Wisdom, so many persons of common intellect have made through thy intercession admirable progress in their studies. I hereby choose thee as guardian and patron of my studies. I humbly ask thee to obtain for me the grace of the Holy Spirit, so that from now on I could

• understand more quickly,
• retain more readily, and
• express myself more fluently.

May the example of my life serve to honor thee and thy Son, Jesus.

Amen.

*O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

** O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen*
