OTOH, the moment of ensoulment is unnecessary. We are not to kill human beings, irrespective of their having a soul, because they are human beings.
The soul is the sine qua non of humanness.
Fight it out between yourselves. And as soon as you have a proof for this “soul” we can back together, and keep talking. 🙂

I’m not fighting…
Neither am I. But as our interlocutor posts suggest, he trolls for fights. Pray for him.
Actually, it is fun to see how some Catholics can state diametrically opposite assumptions, and both of them believe that they are correct. 🙂

A joke for you:

Someone dies and is getting to the Pearly Gates. St. Peter invites him in. As he looks around, he sees many different people around him. However, he also sees a huge wall around a secluded area. He asks St. Peter who are the ones behind the wall. St. Peter answers: “That area is reserved for the Catholics. They believe that they are the only ones in heaven, and we don’t want to disappoint them”.

I first heard that “joke” 67 years ago. It is quite likely it was old then.

Note that I did not say it wasn’t funny.
