Very good article. And some very good suggestions for things we can do to help us to forgive.
Personally, I recall a particular time when I was having a hard time to forgive – to the point that I could not pray the line in the Our Father that said “forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us”. I no longer remember the particular situation involved, but God helped me through it, and now I can pray all the lines of the Our Father!
In another situation I finally decided to start praying just for the person to have a very good day. It put my spirit in a positive joyful attitude rather than a negative critical one.
