When Jesus was on the cross He says these words to God the Father. Why does He say this, doesn’t God the Father already know that the people do not understand the implications of what they are doing?
I’m thinking that when he said “Them” he was speaking for ALL of us for all time…the offenses that would continue to be committed against Him… Through my fault…through my fault…through my most grievous fault…When Jesus was on the cross He says these words to God the Father. Why does He say this, doesn’t God the Father already know that the people do not understand the implications of what they are doing?
Well, if we assume that God is omnipotent, then God must also be omniscient (since knowing is a capability). If God is omniscient, then God not only knows what you mean, but knew before the universe began that you were going to say it.When Jesus was on the cross He says these words to God the Father.
