Forgiveness of sins-what should I do?

I am in the process of converting to the catholic faith.

What should I do about sins that I commit? I am concerned because there might be some sins that could be mortal sins (but I am not completely sure, but I am pretty sure there are)

How should I handle the situation. I pray alot to Jesus and the saints and I’ve just started to pray the Rosery. I am very upset about some of the things I have done. Thanks

This concern and sorrow for your sins is a very great grace, and the soul of conversion. You can discuss this with your pastor or with the person who handles RCIA. Each case is different. However, if you are not yet ready to receive the sacraments, be assured that with your contrition and desire for confession, our Lord Himself will pronounce the absolution (as he does, even through the mouth of the Priest) in the event that you get hit by a truck and are abruptly dispatched to meet Him.
 
If you are in RCIA, at the end of your class when you are confirmed and received into the Church, you can go to confession and receive absolution. If you are not in RCIA, you need to register yourself and start the journey. God bless!
 
I have registered myself, I’m just waiting for it to start (aug 30)
 
Get to confession as soon as possible, but do not be discouraged until then. God knows your heart, and knows your sorrow. If you are consistently approaching Him humbly in prayers for forgiveness, I do not see anything to worry about. Christ wants you to be at peace, so I would just continue praying, and get to confession as soon as you are able.
