She walked away from the abortion clinic she directed after, horrified, she saw a baby being aborted during an ultrasound view. Her pro-choice Episcopal Church vocally rejected her change of heart, she said. “When we went to the Catholic Church for the first time we knew that where we were supposed to be.” She particularly love the church’s reverence for the Virgin Mary as the mother of God.

I love Abby Johnson. One of my heroes. Didn’t she convert a few years ago though?
 
This provides the story of her conversion several years ago. I hadn’t heard this then and find it of great interest.

She converted years ago, but her story is still a powerful one. She’s also very active in the pro-life movement!
