Formula for love

  1. We must want to love others unconditionally.
  2. We must at all times meditate on God’s unconditional love for us; which he expressed by accepting suffering and death on the cross in order to save us from sin.
  3. We must imitate Jesus in all our thoughts, words and actions.
  4. We must surrender our will to God, sacrifice our self interest and serve others without expecting anything in return.
 
I remember when I took a Math course back in High school and college, every new subject had some sort of samples and how to do it. All you needed to do is to plug in numbers to formula, and voila! you got the answer. However, when I had to do the homeworks, nothing was like the samples - no problem was straightforward for me to solve. 😃

Formula for Love is like one of those Math homework but much more difficult and many times it does not go in order 1, 2, 3, 4…
