Let us all offer our prayers for this diocese, and their priests and bishops who seem to seek full communion with the Catholic Church. Let us pray also for the members of their church who may be against this action. There must be a great deal of confusion there now, so I will be praying for discernment and the guidance of the Holy Spirit for all involved in this fragile situation.

Father of all mankind,
Please send Your Spirit into the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth and move their hearts to desire only love! May they desire to be united under One Way, One Truth, One Life, One Faith! Guide them, O Holy Spirit, to the path they need to be on so Jesus’ Church may be one as He desires!
Amen! Amen!

Jesus You desire that we may “be one” (John 17:11-12), under one Shepherd. Let it be so. As You desire unity, and in Your Holy Spirit, the Fort Worth Episcopal priests and bishops seem to seek full communion with the Catholic Church, let Your wishes be fulfilled. If anyone wishes to stand in their way let the power of Your Holy Spirit descend on them to ensure that You will may be completed.

Oh, what a wonderful thought…

2 years ago, I was looking at visiting an Episcopalian church with my family, but my wife resisted. It’s amazing how God is working all around us. I always pray for this to happen. But I sympathize with their unique problem.
