I’m interested if anyone here knows of a catholic/ pro life forum or website where women can get solid advice about trying to convince and miscarrying. I don’t think this is the right place so I won’t ask my questions here, but I’m hoping there is some place I can go to learn more about these topics from a pro life perspective. Any suggestions?

I’ve never heard of a forum for prolife fertility discussions, but it would be nice if there were one! There are so many secular websites for that purpose.

I agree with the post above, looking into St. Paul VI institute is a great idea. I thought about it for a long time, but kept putting it off. Finally, a month ago, I started Creighton charting classes. I found a Creighton teacher in my area and we’ve been doing online meetings. I was already charting on my own, but not using the Creighton method. It’s very specific and you have to learn from the instructor, you can’t just learn online or buy a book. The classes are pretty expensive, but I think it’s well worth it!

Your instructor may be able to help you with a lot of your questions, or if you need a doctor they have Napro doctors who have studied the Creighton method and are pro life. They want you to do two months of Creighton charting before you can see a Napro doctor, though, so that the doctor can look at your chart and really understand what’s going on with you. The main office is in Nebraska, and if you needed surgery that’s where you would have to go. But you can find Napro doctors closer to your area for non surgical appointments, I found one an hour away. I can’t wait to meet with her! I’ve had such bad experiences with obgyns I’m just ready to go to a doctor who I feel will really care about me and my health.

There are several Facebook groups that are focused on pregnancy loss, trying to conceive, and fertility issues from a Catholic perspective. Mommy to a Little Saint is one that I was in a few years ago and found helpful.

You mean like medical advice or just like a supportive community to discuss this stuff with?

If you mean the latter, I think CAF would fit the bill. Lots of people have dealt with these issues and would happy to lend a supportive ear.

Another organization that my wife and I were members of is The Couple to Couple League (ccli.org). They can help couples chart the wife’s cycle.

Whatever organization you choose, the charting can help a pro-life doctor tell what’s going on in the cycle and thus can help determine what course of action might be beneficial if the wife is having trouble conceiving.

I am just concerned that posting on this forum would get my post removed considering the number of times my previous posts have been flagged for “seeking medical advice “ despite that not being my intention. I think CAF needs to be careful not to get into any lawsuits, which I can understand. So, I was hoping there was a catholic/ pro life forum somewhere where those topics could be discussed openly without limitations on the discussion.

In the old forum there was a section in parenting to discuss pregnancy.

There was a sticky thread.
