I’m excited and can hardly wait to visit a church that I discovered has a Latin Mass on Saturday afternoons. It has been years since I’ve heard the Mass in Latin. Have you gone to a church like that? What did you think? Would you like to turn back time completely? Part way? Not at all?

Completely my friend…completely. Congrats on finding the Church…I have one that I am registered at and I love.

Just be careful and make sure it is not a Society chapel and that it is in full communion.

It appears to be ok. Their website says that they are approved by the local diocese.

Check Mass Times and or your diocese’s web site just to make sure they are listed. Just because they say they are approved does not mean that they are approved.

Thank you! I found it listed on the site. That’s a keeper!

Praise God! I have to drive 200 miles to the nearest Latin Mass Community at our Cathedral. It is worth going. I don’t go every weekend, though.

Well, they don’t make it easy. I got confused, and here’s why. They meet at Sacred Heart, and the mass is not listed on that website. They go by the name St. Joseph’s and have an extensive website of their own, using the address and phone number of Sacred Heart. I called the diocese and asked for help. They told me to call Sacred Heart, and I reached the secretary who informed me that I had to be registered with another parish in order to receive the sacraments (baptism, etc.) because St. Joseph’s isn’t a parish, they just use the Sacred Heart facilities. Whatever… I’m still going on Sunday afternoon.
