Four kinds of Prayer

In regard to the four main kinds of prayer (what most people learn as ACTS), was there any particular date when this was defined by the Church? Or was it just assumed from the beginning of the early church? Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Considering I had to Google what the ACTS acronym stood for, I’d have to say it isn’t as “official” as you may think. I’d also say it was never defined by the Church, but I’m open to correction. There are many types of prayer referenced in the Bible, and that includes these 4. I’ve been of the mind since my early teen years (eons ago) that there are many, many types of prayer. Some of them (not all) are represented here:
