My non-catholic daughter is pregnant with her fourth child by a man she has met very recently. They are in love and plan a future together in a few years time. She has three children with different fathers and is trying to decide whether to continue the pregnancy.
I love my grandchildren but am afraid that their lives which are already difficult are going to get much more so.

Will pray for her and the children, especially the new baby on the way.
Any “decision” should be about refraining from sex outside of a marriage. There’s no choice but to continue the pregnancy. She should consider that her other children will be greatly affected, as will she, if she decides to abort this child. And yes, their lives will continue to be difficult because of the prior poor decisions. Show her love, try to get her some counseling, and pray that this man is serious about taking care of her and her children by providing a stable home and marrying her if that is his intent.
I pray that he is the man that she has apparently been seeking.
