A boycott has been suggested for the super bowl because Fox is so biased. What do you think?
 
Is there an article to link to? Did Fox give any reasons for their decisions? As Fox News has been regarded as right leaning, is this Fox News or Fox Sports or just Fox in general making these decisions? Thanks on any further information!

That was asked rhetorically, but I realized I haven’t watched Fox in over a decade so I honestly don’t know.
 
The Super Bowl is already ipso facto anti-life – it’s a major contributor to human trafficking and the NFL has done little to nothing to curb this, and it supports the NFL’s negligence with respect to its players’ health. We don’t need a new reason for a boycott: there’s plenty of old reasons to have one.
 
I’m pretty disgusted with the NFL as a whole, especially after how they tried to cover up the concussion epidemic and how they don’t hold their players accountable for things like domestic violence.

That said, boycotting the Superbowl will have as much impact as telling a billionaire kid that you’re docking his allowance by a dollar.

Anyone who thinks a boycott will have any effect whatsoever on the Super Bowl…well, good luck.

Depending on whose data you believe, the epidemic isn’t really epidemic. There’s a recent WaPo article that’s all about how the doctor who fraudulently claims to have discovered CTE is waaaay overselling the incident rate and making big bucks the whole time. A lot of medical researchers dispute, if not outright reject, his claims.
 
Plus, add in those that, while they have no interest in the game, do watch it FOR THE COMMERCIALS! I’ve been to enough Super Bowl parties to see people pretty much ignore the game yet come running out to watch the commercials every break!

This confuses me… could you explain why or how the NFL is involved in trafficking? I’ve not heard this before. Thanks.
 
Thanks…I guess I’ve just never heard the rumors to begin with! And, I’m glad to know it’s bunk.
 
The pro-life organization was willing to pay the $$$$ but said they were strung along until the point all the ad slots had been filled. Fox never gave them a response as to why.
